Born from a profound love of the Sonoran Desert, Whiskey Del Bac® handcrafts world-class whiskeys that distill the allure and mysticism of the desert into a bottle. Located in Tucson, Arizona, our craft distillery hand makes a line of American single malt whiskeys under the Whiskey Del Bac Brand. We also produce Sentinel of the Desert™, a sourced-but-finished line of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys. Internationally recognized and Arizona focused, Whiskey Del Bac® truly is Arizona's whiskey.
This special evening will feature a presentation from the Whiskey Del Bac team highlighting the company’s history, production process, and a high-level look at their business and financial journey as they approach their 15-year anniversary. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with fellow FEAT members and guests in a one-of-a-kind distillery setting.
Speaker Information:
Mark A. Vierthaler is the Master Distiller & Blender, Director of Distillery Operations, and Director of Marketing at Hamilton Distillers Group in Tucson, AZ - Distillers of international-award-winning Whiskey Del Bac® American single malt whiskey and blenders/producers of Sentinel of the Desert™ Straight Rye and Straight Bourbon whiskeys. Mark has been in the industry since 2010, distilling since 2016, and has won more than three dozen awards for the spirits he's crafted across multiple distilleries and spirit styles. He lives just outside Tucson on the edge of Saguaro National Park with his wife Jennifer, Standard Issue Cat Rump Roast, Distillery Cat Emeritus Two-Row, and any random javelinas, bobcats, roadrunners, tarantulas and other assorted fauna that roam through their backyard. Mark is a former member of the Board of Directors for the American Craft Spirits Association, and previously volunteered for their Education, Guild, and Government Affairs Committees. He occasionally writes for Artisan Spirit Magazine.
Arielle DeSoucey is the Events Director at Hamilton Distillers Group in Tucson, spearheading events, seminars, and programming for Whiskey Del Bac throughout the state of Arizona. In addition to her dedication to planning philanthropic, community-driven events with non-profit and associations, she is also the founder and owner of Civil Wines LLC, a wine education platform that promotes inclusivity and accessibility in the beverage industry. In addition to her work in events and communications, Arielle is a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators and received her WSET Advanced Certificate at the Wine Institute in Manhattan. A New York native, she now lives in Tucson with her husband Jim, dog Benny, and enjoys creating memorable, enriching experiences for customers, both in wine and whiskey.

Please note that Whiskey Del Bac’s distillery license allows them to exclusively serve Whiskey Del Bac products. The cash bar will include a variety of Whiskey Del Bac's signature cocktails and neat pours of their award-winning American single malt whiskey, along with an assortment of non-alcoholic mocktails and beverages.
Catering will be provided by Grapevine Cupcuterie and Savory Boards. Look forward to a grazing table with your favorite meats, cheeses and bites!
Directional signage will be available on-site to help guide guests to the distillery entrance.
